Kate Otto
Everyday Ambassador Founder and Director
Kate Otto is a global health consultant who has worked in Indonesia, Ethiopia, Ghana, Tanzania, South Africa, Mozambique and Haiti leading health innovation initiatives for The World Bank, USAID, and various grassroots organizations. She designs, deploys, and researches mobile phone-based technologies to improve health service delivery in areas of HIV/AIDS care, substance use disorder, maternal and child health and nutrition. Kate recently co-produced a film about her HIV/AIDS work in Indonesia. She is also the author of the forthcoming book Everyday Ambassador: Creating Connections that Last in a Digitally Distracted World. She is a frequent public speaker and writer on these topics, including the website she founded in 2012, www.EverydayAmbassador.org.
