Lauren is the co-founder and editor-in-chief of offMetro.com, an award-winning green travel resource covering day trips and weekend getaways—car-optional—from New York and San Francisco. When she isn't managing oM and traveling the world on trains, buses, bikes and boats, Lauren contributes to Bicycling Magazine, Budget Travel, and the Huffington Post, and is working on a book about great adventures near New York City. Lauren also writes a monthly bike travel column for the Transportation Alternatives website bikenyc.org. Some of her credits include Los Angeles Magazine, CNN, Hearst, BizBash, and Cosmopolitan. She has been featured in several travel segments for NBC’s Today in NY.
