I'm a food and travel journalist and culinary adventurer exploring the world through my taste buds. I believe food is living history and a key to understanding and experiencing new cultures. I'm always on the lookout for the next great food destination, and have eaten my way through more than 65 countries. I recently filmed a food adventure web series "Off the Beaten Plate," debuting this summer. When I'm not on the culinary trail, I split my time between New York City and rural Tuscany and I'm currently writing a food and travel memoir.
